taxing exhausts money

It used to be that the dream was to work hard and get rich. The problem is, in your dreams, the tax system usually isn’t there. If it did then it probably isn’t a dream but a nightmare. Well the reality for the rich may not be a nightmare but it nevertheless is a bad dream.

How bad? According to Shadow Chancellor George Osborne, the Tory government is looking into raising the percentage for the highest earners, those who are earning 150,000 Pounds per year, to 45%.

Such tax implementation according to Conservative Mayor of London Mr Boris Johnson would be detrimental to business.

In BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? show, “It sends out a signal to people who create wealth, people who are energetic… can generate new industries or drive large enterprises of one kind or another… that we want to take more of their proceeds away than before.

"It is a deterrent to enterprise."

This is what has come to the United Kingdom’s economy. They need money to help the fledgling economy and the only way to get it is through taxing those who still have money.

Speaking about the situation the country is in as of the moment, Mr. Osborne said that, "If you look at the proposal to increase the rate of tax on people earning over £150,000 to the new 45% rate, that’s going to be difficult to avoid."

Of course there is still some blame to be passed around. Mr Osborne lashed out at the Labour Party for its mismanagement of the country’s finances.
