Could property sales be at a tipping point?

halifax price graph

House prices slumped by 3,800 pound in February, this is according to Halifax.

  • Prices were down 2.3% on month
  • 17.7% on same time last year, average house prices are now at 160.327 pound, thats 34,600 less than February 2008.

Renewed property interest?

  • There is renewed interest in houses as prices tumble by almost 20%.
  • But the renewed interest in buying a house is stopped by the large deposits lenders require now.
  • The property market is seen to have some very good value over the next few months, but prices probably will decrease for the next few months, so you can still hold onto your cash if your looking for a bargain!
